Thanks! I was overlooking selecting engrave on the initial object. If tried changing it after creating the test array it was setting everything to just 1% power.

the amount of stuff i learn from you in each video is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! The text manipulation is what I love to watch. I'm a graphic designer and am used to working in illustrator. The one thing I want to do in this software is letter kerning. can that be done? I haven't figured out how!
Aw thank you so much, Kathy. As for kerning, yes. When the text is highlighted, on the object menu at the right, you will see the name of the font, the type/size, and then the leading (vertical) and kerning (horizontal) text options. Depending on the font, the leading and kerning work well in XCS (you can go negative) but sometimes I manually place.
How permanent is the funk on the faux fur? I want to do this for a fur tail but I don’t want it to stain anything. 👍🫶
Honestly, it can DEFINITELY transfer, so I wouldn't use this if you're working on anything that could a) get wet or b) is a darker color than you're working with for the outfit. Purchasing the fur (or piecing it together - I have a video on this channel for that) is going to be a better bet.

Oh My Gosh!!! THIS is incredible! First of all, I have yet (til now) come across someone who is so full of life, with her beautiful voice explaining the how to, step by step in depth detail and not afraid to share her wealth of knowledge. Thank YOU!! This is the second video I have watched of yours and was like, "WOW! This girl is great!" I will definitely be watching all of your videos. Laser engraving/XCS is newish to me. Cricut has been my love (still is) however I have been cheating with my XTool S1 and I am in love!!
